I've just had a look at the Kate Edwards blog site. I'm ashamed to say that though I live just across the water from Runcorn I had never heard of her. So now it seems that I am too late? Her poetry is tender and feminine in that non emotional way of many woman. It resonates with local knowledge and that helps as I have always had to make myself feel at home in this part of the islands...coming from the north of Ireland and it's hills as it's so flat around here. thankyou for the introduction.
Dominic, Many thanks. I thought it timely to wave it around a bit.
Gerry, pleased to have introduced you to the work of Kate Edwards. You are almost neighbours! I left a comment on her website and got a nice reply from her family.
