entered into this blog's search box will bring up the October 2008 poem: 'How can I dream when I can't even sleep at night?'

Please re-enjoy as we hurtle towards doomsday.

  1. A poem ahead of its time!

Powerful images that I enjoyed, the eyes have it.

At the risk of being shot down by the pun god, the Japanese frogs on the east coast have almost certainly now croaked...

  2. I heard that Sarkozy was in Japan today trying to sell the idea that they could make their nuclear energy plants safer! Presumably they'd do that by buying them from EVN instead of GE? But just a thought I never heard that they ever had tsunamis in France.
There was guy from Sanford Uni at 'sciencedaily' had an idea that you could get really cheap electricity at no risk by alternating sea and inflow of fresh water if you had the right set up - but strange thing was I couldn't find it when I looked for it again. But it's always been like that. I remember decades ago an inventor patented an idea about running a car on some fuel system involving basically ordinary water and then if my memory is working correctly he suddenly met an untimely end. Ce'st la Vie, Gordon!
