      The policeman was quite friendly towards them. He told them they couldn't play there without a permit. They accepted his advice graciously.

      I walked along this newly pedestrianized shopping street from one end to the other, more than a mile, and surprisingly these were the only street musicians I saw. They were very good. I suspect they are music students studying in Vienna. With their happy music made people smile on this grey day. Albeit for only 2 minutes.
