"An idea no longer shrouded in mist, through wave or ether comes to me, like a star from high up in the skies, or a pearl from the bottom of the sea." - Victor Hugo (Les rayons et les ombres)
i remember, and i know the background to this poem, Gwilym...but ancient wisdom also says sooner or later we shall all be claimed by the sea? can't deny humanity is always in a hurry, even if that's towards reaching the grave...guess we are all parties to it? :)the Zen philo of live as if you are already dead appeals to me...but this society is not the place for that perhaps, wishes, devika
Hi Devika, I must think a while about all this :)
well captured Gwilymjohn
Interesting Gwilym - I really don't think nuclear scientists are capable to thinking outside the box - they seem to become absolutely obsessed by nuclear power.
John, thanks! Pat, don't forget Busby and Gunderson - these are a couple of good guys - although I grant you they are much in the minority.
