he cuts the hedge

and a moth falls out -

it pretends to be dead

    Hello freesabee1, and thanks for your comments. What is this life but each one's opinion? In the end we all have our various defences, protection mechanisms and strategies. A moth's best bet when suddenly exposed is to act as if dead on a background of similar colour to itself; the bee's answer may be to sting. A rat, like myself, what can I do - I generally run away! See 'Bard on the Run'.
