Personally I think since the 4 Fukushima Daiichi meltdowns (not over yet) the haiku form must change - rather like poetry did after Auschwitz. We cannot go on romanticising a twig of cherry blossom tree when children are getting radiation sickness
Through the clouds I can see the stars, but My shoes are leaking
I find haiku really difficult Gwil - i think it is because I usually use far too many words in my poetry.
