in the shade the cat

  1. Any sensible early birds will make a quick exit out of the shade of that cat.

  2. We had a ginger cat just like that, "Cipolla" (onion). He was an excellent bird catcher so we had to put a little bell on his collar to frighten the birds off when he stalked them.
I like the poem. Greetings Maria x

    1. I can see why you'd call him Cipolla. The cat was watching the birds from the cover of the hedge. I thought he'd make a nice photo and I went nearer and he posed briefly. We once had a ginger cat and his name was, you'd never guess, Ginger.
