Me too. Presumably if the Internet goes down they will have to use old fashioned typewriters, if they can find one, since the next generation won't be able to write with pen or pencil.
I hope they are at least teaching them to touch type.
It's only handwriting that is being phased out in schools. Touch screen typing will be de rigeur.
Touch screen is not touch typing.
This is what the news report said the kids will get, to replace the teaching of handwriting.
