    Ah yes Gwilym - the mapping routes these birds have are amazing aren't they? I do wish we had storks here - I just love the way they build in such precarious places.

    hi Pat, its always a joy to see them - this one came from the Nile Valley - Kenya or Egypt - onetime a stork flew all the way from there to here with a hunter's arrow stuck in its side
