Twilight is sometimes called "owl light," a time when the boundary between realms conscious and unconscious turns permeable--and the statue here does just that, shift between gestalts and reasons why--
Great words...thankyou...tonight we heard two owls in the back field. It's been a while since we heard one and now there are two...that means a pair and that means nests and owlets...I hope...so thanks for this super poem!
