Time Traveller

Through telescopes

I view
the past.

And what
are my eyes
but telescopes?

To see
the future?

This needs more

  1. Interesting poem Gwilym. I had not thought about a telescope in this light but you are quite right about seeing the past when we look at the stars. As to seeing into the future - if ever we could I don't think I would wish to.l

  2. Pat, theoretically (;)) we cannot be in the present because of the impossibility of dividing our time remaining down to zero. There's even some theoretical (that word again!!) evidence that we are up to 6 or 7 seconds behind the ball game as it were . . . anyway wherever we are in time we must make the best use of it and work towards the golden rule, which is not as it happens to be at the moment - he who has the gold makes the rules.
