Pat, because you said that I've changed it to the third glass , tastes good now. Heavy beer light beer medium beer for whatever ales me Rachel or maybe I just like the stuff.
Two beers or not two beer? that is the question. I suppose pubs are like American burger outlets in some respects. In a new city I generally navigate to one of the ubiquitous Irish pubs for the same reasons you go to Macs. Familiarity breeds contentment. A pint of contentment is a wonderful thing. Also I've been busy trying out some new running gear I got for Christmas and reading some new books.
A light beer.
ReplyDeleteThe last glass perhaps looks better than it tastes - I thought it was the first glass that tasted so wonderful Gwil.

ReplyDeleteI wondered if you were still savouring that last pint.
ReplyDeleteThe thing about McDonalds when travelling alone is that nobody seems to take any notice of somebody eating on their own.
You don't get pestered by some local nerd. I can see that. It's a risk you run in the Irish pub.
