  1. Perhaps it still does somewhere. I often wonder what our intelligence is in aid of, in the big scheme of things.

    Fred Hoyle wrote a book many years ago called The Black Cloud, I think. I read it a while ago: a black cloud was drifting towards earth in space. It turned out to be intelligent.

Hello Gunner Rachel, I recently read in the paper that Professor Stephen Hawking like you an example of intelligent life (quote: "The Simpsons is the best thing on American TV"), has calculated for us mathematically taking into account various factors including shirt colours that Brazil are going to win the World Cup. I hope they do it with panache. But I wouldn't put my shirt on it. Get in the cases of lagers and enjoy the football fest! P and all!
