WARS

WARS for the oil.

WARS for the water.

WARS for the factories.

WARS for the fields.

WARS for the women.

WARS for the priests.

WARS for the children.

WARS for beliefs.

  1. I often wonder if the people of this planet will ever be

    1. Since it's the case that the doomsday clock stands at three minutes to midnight . . . the answer is no.

    1. Can Arsenal win Sunday's six pointer? Maybe a cheer lurking there. I fancy Wenger will try to play for a share of the points. My tip 1-1.

    1. __If I say that humanity conducts wars against cruelty, or the wars against poverty, or a war against war, and on and on and on... I am apparently and ineptly using the incorrect word. The word >WAR< has only a single meaning, and that of a bloody and primitive conflict between two dissenting and differing beliefs. In cases such as cruelty, and poverty, or 'WAR,' and on and on and on as mentioned above, that word 'WAR' should be instantly replaced by the phrase, "some sort of effort." Would that mean... that "some sort of effort" would be enough to emphasize the dilemmas that were within that effort of change? _m

    2. For war we may read war-economy. What is the net gain? Who are the net gainers?

    3. Magyar, I ran out of battery there. To finish the comment. There's an ABC guide to war. It's by Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler and it is downloadable. It runs to about 20 printed sides.

    1. And getting darker by the day. Turkey and Saudi Arabia just announced they are going to march into Syria. I hope Kerry or Obama can quickly put a stop to this idiotic provocation. Russia and Iran are not amused. Probably Pakistan and China also not amused.
