It's red.

Now that I'm older

my hair is white

Which is alright

for an old man's hair.

To the fact
that
it's white now

I find it strange

But then that's me.

  1. Isn't it funny how folk with red hair try to call it by any other name (my son had red hair, now gradually going grey) - would that my hair had gone that beautiful white - it would have saved me pounds in hair dye.

    1. I understand your son. Red is the stop colour on a traffic light. Amber would be nearer the mark. Even worse than being labelled red was the designation strawberry-blonde which usually came from an elderly aunt with a saccharine smile. It made me feel like a girl.

    1. Maria you are right. In the end it's only the grey matter that matters. You can have the loveliest hair in the world but if you're as thick as two short planks . . .

__ As you say, all the same; that we still need a comb, is all that matters. Smiles_!
