Hi Gerald, in my experience in the Vienna Woods it's very quiet when the snow is actually falling - before it snows the crows, when the sky begins to darken and wind the gets up, give a concert and sometimes a display of acrobatics - after the snowfall the songbirds burst forth. It may different in Hyde of course.
Isn't it funny how snowfall silences everything Gwilym - even the birds.
ReplyDeleteI love the silence of falling snow.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I can't answer your question about people looking younger .... I'm not old enough ;)!
Neat one, Gwilym.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gordon. Snow is a kind of censorship. Information is hidden. Things fall silent. Beautiful though.
ReplyDeletesnow silences birds does it - must check that out next time it snows.
