Discounted Golden Delicious - the only fruit?

Miss Price:
"After He created the sun and the moon
and the stars and the birds
and the fish
and all the other things
He made the first two humans
 and He gave them
 names:
 He named the man Adam
and He named the woman Eve

He didn't make any children

dear children - not yet anyways.

In the garden where they lived

there were all kinds of fruit  trees -
theirs to enjoy - except for the apples - they were not allowed
to eat the apples dear children. But they did.

He saw them do it.

And they even admitted to it.

Punishment was instant
and dire. They were banished
from the garden, which means they had to leave
with their few possessions:
a goatskin water bottle, the sandals they were wearing and their loincloths.
Yes, Sidney, just like modern day refugees
from the banks of the Jordan
and the Euphrates.

What more can I say to those of you who refuse to believe the biting of the  tempting apple was seriously bad news?

BREAKING NEWS: SON ON THE WAY. BREAKING NEWS: SON ON THE WAY.
He the One in three and the three in One announced today that He will send a prophet, a miracle worker, even a son to the area of conflict. According to sources He the One in three etcetera will make sure the chosen people are held responsible for the son's death in the event of a worst case scenario. We repeat . . . He the One

"Not an insignificant little matter
one might think,"
said Miss Price, quietly closing her books of reference
  and switching off the TV.

  1. Gwil, as usual I find your post so disturbing and such food for thought.

    1. In New Testament days families with children up to the age of two had to flee to Egypt. If the Romans found the babies they cut them in half with the sword. Now the people are fleeing again, but this time to Europe. And here we are bickering about the financial cost. The King of Jordan spoke about the unequal situation at the UN. His country has 2,000,000 refugees.
In Old Testament days in the garden, that is to say in modern day Iraq, it was just the same. People killed, expelled and banished. It puzzles me why these lands are deemed so holy when they constantly flow with blood.

    2. God prayed for 40 days and 40 nights and then it was always alright after that.

    3. I remember Miss Price teaching us that. It was after that humane bit about the boat full of animals which neglected all the millions of dead animals who had done nothing wrong and the millions of people who had done nothing wrong floating and decomposing in the sea of God's holy rainbow promise of no more punishments by floods etcetera . . .

  2. __Parental directives to >not take of the pomegranate< so often becomes a challenge to their offspring; within this test of morality... one is all, all is one.

    the life of one
    seeps into the desert sands
    this blood of all
