I can still remember the days when postmen, milkmen and window cleaners were in the streets whistling their happy tunes. Have we've all taken the wrong turning somewhere?
If we are lonely we can always join a traffic snarl up. Just heard on the radio that there is 20 minute delay for vehicles crossing a bridge as people drive there to swan-neck at the latest accident. It seems to be a kind of hobby for the lonely. In yesterday's paper two cyclists involved in accidents reported taken to hospital. Hope they are not lonely on the 7th or 8th floor of our medical monolith.
